Jada Pinkett Smith may be pint-sized, but she is big on style!

The Hollywood actress, producer, director and rocker mom's fashion sense has transformed from sporting baggy jeans, baseball jerseys and box braids as college student Lena James on "A Different World" to wearing designer floor-length gowns, mini dresses and glamorous hairstyles on the red carpet. And while Pinkett Smith has committed quite a few fashion don'ts -- mostly during the early years of her marriage to blockbuster actor Will Smith where they donned matching outfits -- she's managed to redeem herself.

As the Baltimore-born star celebrates her 40th birthday today (September 18), we take a look back at how her style has evolved over the years.

The cosmetic "enhancements" that Jada has undertaken have left her once fun and approachable relaxed face looking hard and forbidding. Thank goodness Will Smith hasn't tampered with his adorable mug.

I don't care what anyone says I have loved Jada ever since I saw her in "The InkWell". She does have her fashion misses but so what she could wear a burlap sack and be smoking.

Thank you! What happened to her? She had such a pretty soft looking face. Now, it looks as though she is on some male hormone. Is it cheek implants? if so, why. She does not look like the same person. Very hard.
I have nothing against her, she just doesn't look right..maybe it is all the stress..peace

I don't believe Jada is the apex of beauty & fashion. I think she's a large headed stick figure who dresses in some of the most tasteless & bizarre 'outfits' which are best suited for a masquerade party. Apparently sheeple praise her & her every move, as well as those of her not so talented kids, because the media & PC brigade insist on it. I've literally cringed when I'd see Willow emulating her mom by wearing outlandish outfits to strut down a red carpet (i.e.: the outfit that resembled a yellow straight jacket over a trash bag). Willow has also worn things that I deem risqué, even for adults. Jada & Willow have become a spectacle of poor choices, but due to the PC brigade, many are afraid to admit that they aren't the fashion divas the media proclaims them to be. To those falling all over yourselves to praise & "defend" Jada that have pre-teen daughters: would you let your child wear the same outfits as Willow? I know a lot will reply with "YES" but I suspect that if you're honest & weren't worried that someone would label you as racist for not slobbering over the whole Smith family, your answer would be; "no, there's no way I would let my daughter dress like that."

When a man can see all the legs, breasts, skin of a woman he wants simply by looking out the window. When he can pass by a woman in a halter top and shorts and feel nothing, what does a woman have to do to get him excited?

I placed a previous comment before reading any of the other comments left on here.....and Dammnn......what is wrong with all of you people ? SERIOUSLY ! Jada has been in the press lately and all of the sudden you all want to jump on the hate wagon ? Get real , already ! Ever single man who wrote something negative here would do anything to spend just one night with her.....and every women who left negative comments would trade places with her in a heartbeat . It's easy to sit in front of your computer and say hateful things while pretending you are above the person you're slandering , but you're not . You're all hypocrites....and quite frankly full of crap !

I am trying to figure out what on EARTH these people are talking about. Jada is stunning and she looks FABULOUS in those photos. There were a couple that I wasn't crazy about but I can't believe these people here.
