Country singer Carrie Underwood is truly a cut above the rest, but she may have missed the mark with her new 'do.

The 28-year-old, Grammy Award-winning star took to the iHeartRadio Music Festival stage in Las Vegas this weekend wearing new blunt bangs. While we're used to seeing Underwood sport side-swept fringe, her new lash-grazing look raised quite a few eyebrows.

she looks very pretty ... she doesn't have a square jaw, which would give her a boxy look ... as it is, her chin is the perfect compliment to the bangs. I for one am tired of the thick, side swept bangs ... never did like 'em.

Carrie looks just fine but I don't see this as newsworthy. There are more important issues this writer could be talking about besides Carrie Underwood's hairstyle.

I totally agree. I think the writer of the article is trying to elicit a debate where there is none. Carrie looks stunning and alluring. She's got the whole package looks,talent,smart and she seems to be down to earth.

There are some real unjustices in this world...and one is being so damn cute, smart, talented, nice, down to earth as this girl is...you can't do anything to her that would make her average looking...I swear I think when GOD said step up - she was the first in every line and got the best he had to give....I was so far back in the line - they ran out of everything before they got to me.
