For most people Jessica Alba is that bombshell in many a action or romance movie. But the 30-year-old actress, and newly turned mom, is also a home and entertaining fanatic.
Her home with husband Cash Warren is located in a secluded cul-de-sac in Los Angeles where according to Life magazine Alba "spends a Saturday doing the unthinkable: cooking for a bunch of people on her day off." We wanted to take a closer look so we're revisiting Life magazine's feature, which showcases Alba prepping for a dinner party as a hostess. However what we really get is a glimpse of what life is like for Alba at home off the silver screen. From the patterned yellow kitchen walls and the choice of a blue-and-white table runner to the sculptural dining room chandelier and the streamlined sofa, we love how the article captures the spaces -- and moments -- that show Alba reveling in the comfort of her own home.
