Kate Winslet's recent red carpet choices have been sartorially spectacular.

But back in the day, the British beauty didn't always select figure-flattering numbers. Revealing lace, over-embellishments and tacky cutouts occupied the "Contagion" star's wardrobe. Now, Winslet has discovered a style which flaunts her enviable curves - including that "miracle dress".

I love Kate Winslet, she's been on of my favorite actresses to watch since "Heavenly Creatures." However, the year that "Titanic" was such a hit, I will always remember that nasty Joan Rivers going on and on about how "fat" Kate Winslet was. I never liked Joan Rivers much, but after that, I effing hated that woman, and do till this day. Kate's body was round in all the right places, and to call her fat was to make very impressionable young girls who do have a weight issue only feel worse about themselves. Now she has a womans body, still round in all the right places, not unhealthy obese, but a natural beauty with a healthy body.

I think she looked amazing in pretty much all of the outfits. True, some may be questionable, but we have to remember that they were a sign of the times, the 90's had some gosh awful contributions to fashion...but the woman still rocked it!

This girl is one of the most beautiful and talented actresses out there today. But she is always UNDERSTATING her beauty. True she can pull off wearing a paper bag and still be gorgeous - HOWEVER it seems she is always trying to play her beauty down. Like she is purposely detracting from it. I know she is a serious actress and isn't the typical glamour doll - but lord she could be. She DOES have some beautiful shots. The Bazaar cover above for instance! That's what I am talking about! Kate! You look like a doll! Play it up! The matronly red carpet get ups do nothing for your gorgeousness!!
