Breast Slapping Treatment: Weird Beauty

HuffPost Social Reading

Want bigger breasts without going under the knife? A Bangkok beautician claims she can slap your way to a bigger cup size.

Khemmikka Na Songkhla, 44, has mastered an all-natural enhancement technique that involves kneading, pounding and massaging fat around the breast area. The hard-hitting method was passed down to her from her grandmother.

"I'm the only one in this world who can practice this wisdom," Khemmikka told the Bangkok Post. "The wisdom is like foot massage, but ancient people didn't share it much because back then people didn't care about breast size."

Well, the overly made-up expert is putting this traditional knowledge to use in her salon, Ban Tobnom, where young girls and women gather for the popular, yet painful procedure. Khemmikka begins by measuring their breasts and having her clients sign off on the recorded size. Then she does a post-treatment measurement to prove the increase in size with a final signature.

"I like it a lot," said one satisfied customer. "I come here because I don't want to have plastic surgery. This treatment gives fast results and it's safe for my body."

Still not convinced? Khemmikka took validating her skills a step further by asking the Thai Health Ministry to intervene after a woman alleged to have developed breast cancer after experiencing the slapping treatment.

According to The Independent, the ministry found vigorous massage left study participants between the ages of 20 and 60 breasts cancer-free and measurably bigger.

Suddenly, Khemmikka $263,000 price tag to teach this ancient breast enhancement art doesn't sound too outrageous.

Would you take a flight to Bangkok for this alternative treatment?

yeah right, the only thing you can get from breast slapping is a lot of pain and swolleness.

I can just see it now : women on a date with small breast goes to ladies rm and starts slapping her breast because she wants to impress her date with bigger breast , she comes out of the bathrm with one larger (providing it works ) than the other because one was slapped more or, she tells her date : look but don't touch ( Pain ), what a joke...

It's called swelling and inflammation. All they're signing off on is the fact she gave them the temporary equivalent of a mouse under the eye. Measure their breasts the next day. They'll be the regular size again.

There was once a theory that breast trauma could lead to breast cancer. For that reason, I will not submit to breast slapping.

Well, I'm not sure about the size increase, but it does sound plausable. I AM sure though, about the 'cancer-free' claim. Breast cancer can be a result of lymph issues and bras constrict lymph glands. If the lymph glands are working properly and unobstructed, it's healther. And since lymph glands don't have a muscle to pump fluid (i.e. the heart), the only way to keep all flowing well is exercise which helps that. An example is rebounding. The natural 'bounce' of the breasts will keep surrounding muscles and tissues stronger as well.

I've a 40" bust and rebound every day. I've not worn a bra in 35 years. My breasts look everybit as good as a 20 year old's and don't sag. It's because a bra causes sagging because the breast tissue and muscles surrounding are discouraged from supporting them.

There are actually studies on this and I encourage women to do their own homework.

As for the slapping, well....we know it has to stimulate the lymph glands and that's a good thing.

omG !.....actual cerebral function in the world.....there IS hope !.........i find it somewhat astounding that there are not more people with your common sense........one will encounter many people that will actually argue the opposite point , that bra wearing is "necessary" to AVOID sagging , absolutely contrary to the truth you have become aware of.........as for the "size increase" from the breast mauling.....i have no doubt that there would be significant swelling after such a "treatment" so (technically) one could say there was an increase in size.......but i have CONSIDERABLE doubt that there would be ANY lasting effect.....

Unfortunately, my friend, the world is full of sheeple who are easily swayed by advertising (i.e. Victoria's Secret) and by the western medical establishment that only pushes it's own money-driven agenda. I'm ashamed that so many women are so influenced by advertising and by doctors.

And like you, I'm not sure that there is any lasting effect. I'm not going to research it tho, because I like mine just the way they are. ;-)

(And how about all the ignorant comments from men below? Unbelievable!)

By the way, I happened to think of this. There are a number of events to promote the Susan G Komen Fight for the cure that feature bras!!!! I find it outrageous that no one has realized that bras can cause cancer!!! There are bra-decorating contests and bras used to collect money????

Kind of sounds like a form of BDSM to me. If it works, all a woman has to do is visit a local BDSM club, strip down naked, and let her breasts be beaten on. Hmmm, sounds kinky to me, but a whole lot cheaper.

Ya gotta be kidding ! You could get paid for this. What a scam. She probably video tapes the "treatment" and then makes money on that end as well.

Guys have known about this treatment for centuries, without the slapping part of course.
12:27 PM on 10/06/2011
Well ladies, if any of you are in need of this treatment I would love to volunteer to be your breast slapper.

Why doesn't some "genius" come up with a method to install a valve stem in a woman's breasts allowing her to inflate or deflate as she desires? Seems logical to me.
