Joy Bryant: Style Evolution (PHOTOS)

HuffPost Social Reading

As a former model, Joy Bryant made the leap from the catwalk to film and television, with roles in "Antwone Fisher," "The Skeleton Key" and currently, "Parenthood." In the process, we've watched her style take a dramatic turn.

While she once favored sassy, midriff-baring ensembles that accentuated her toned figure, she's now more likely to be seen in show-stopping frocks worthy of the red carpet fixture she's become.

In honor of the Bronx-bred beauty's 35th birthday today, we present a recap of her most memorable looks.

And remember when Bryant posed nude, unretouched?

This is even more stoooopid than the religion page. This is just a woman, with just a woman's form. All women are beautiful to the right man...or woman. Celebrity worship is just plain feeding ego's already plenty well fed. Bodies are bodies, brains are something else entirely.

That is one fine woman. But she could use about ten pounds and she'd be closer to ideal.
