H&M's "Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" Clothing Line & Other Fictional Characters to Dress Like (PHOTOS)

HuffPost Social Reading

The soon-to-be-released Versace for H&M collection has been gaining a huge amount of buzz throughout the last several months, but that isn't the only collaboration the hot spot has in store. According to WWD, H&M has teamed up with Trish Summerville, costume designer for The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, on a line of clothing inspired by the film's main character Lisbeth Salander.

If you're a big fan of the books or of Rooney Mara's recent Dragon Tattoo transformation this new collection is definitely up your alley. Replete with black ripped tees, asymmetrical jackets and leather leggings, the capsule indulges in tough girl chic. Though this is H&M's first dip into the movie market, they aren't the first label to create pieces of clothing inspired by characters seen on the big screen or on television.

Somewhere in between Halloween costume and muse-inspired fashion, these pieces can be worn long after the trick-or-treating has come and gone. Will you dress like your favorite TV or movie character year-round? Here are some options if your answer is yes.

In essence, this look upgrades lesbian chic. And Lord knows I support that since Crocs and cargo shorts must end. But my biggest question, rather, fear is that all Hollywood movies are going to start banging out fashion collections in order to extend the branding of the film. Let’s see what tragedies could befall us if that is the case: http://bit.ly/u7A6Qb
