Versatile, literary, generous with her time, beautiful...
perhaps got some of both the best, and possibly the worst effects of the 60s,
(Timothy Leary was her godfather).

Speaking for myself (not a star, lol, but growing up with the 60s / the New Age)... there are difficulties,
finding a sense of *ROOTEDness*, when you grow up with ultra-idealism... and
finding a sense of what's personal, when you grow up in a milieu that is more cosmic than personal.

In any case, I'm very glad to see her coming back from the challenges, and
I (trekkie) enjoyed her appearance as Spock's mom ("You will always have a proud mother.")

Love energy to you and yours, Winona.

Love Winona Ryder - always enjoy her movies - hope she's back making a few more - we need her in the film industry - intelligent films...everyone goes through a few 'problem areas' but Winona has her wits about her and I'd like to think she has addressed issues, put them in order and continues with her bulk of work. And whether she wears a lot of black or not - she always wears it well.

I have to say, the girl wears a lot of black, I kind of find that odd over her lifetime all these clothes she wears is black, then I came on the one in the white dress! shocking! But I guess if it works for her, then keep it going!

"Who doesn't love Winona Ryder?" Uuuh, everyone but the dolt that wrote this article. I'm sure she a nice enough person but she isn't exactly setting the screen on fire or even showing up much. When I hear her name all I think about is the legal trouble she had years back. I'm not impressed by her at all. But on the positive side for her, her name is still very recognizable and if she hired a good publicist or PR person I'm sure it could turn around. Or, maybe that's what's going on here her newly hired rep' knows the author of this here article or their boss, one of the two.

Exactly. Whatever style she once may have had? The evolution stopped after her arrest. She's been largely irrelevant and her career seems to be dead in the water. PR or publicist isn't going to get her image rehabilitated. The seedy before and after stuff that accompanies the arrest story makes for bad publicity. Question is would anyone hire her for a movie role?

From what I have heard, Winona Ryder remains unrepentant over her shoplifting incident. While she has served her time and paid restitution, Winona has not formally apologized for the incident. I would be forgiving if Winona showed remorse and apologized sincerely, but until then, I consider her another Hollywood brat who thinks she's above everything else, including the law.
