Toilet Paper Roll Crafts: Picture Frame (PHOTOS)

HuffPost Social Reading

For a standout frame that won't set you back, look to...toilet paper rolls? This charming frame is almost completely composed of the household cast-off. It's a great alternative to store bought frames that are often dull and overpriced, and, as an added bonus, you can customize it to fit any awkwardly sized photos you might have. To make one of these charming frames for yourself, just follow the steps outlined in the slideshow below.

First, gather together cardboard toilet paper tubes and remove all the excess paper. If the paper is really sticking to the roll, hold the cardboard in front of an iron set on "steam" for a few seconds and the paper will lift right off.

Those who can, do...those who cannot, comment. it is so funny that the people claiming that they could do better just comment that they can. Do better, post a pic, and let us judge your ability.

ummmm... it looks one step above ( or below) the macaroni frames we did in grade school in the 60s and 70s

I had to read this simply because the headline intrigued me. I thought perhaps they were going to suggest using them for hair curlers. They work, you know.

It's best use is still the "tout-da-tou ". Just hold the empty cardboard roll up to your lips and loudly broadcast - TOUT-DA-TOU!!!!

I completely agree. I have yet to find a better use than this for empty tp rolls.

Does anyone consider that you are using these right next to your toilet? You mist it every time you flush and roll it with your hands while your sitting on the toilet. Then you cut it and place it on your dinner table? Or put it up to your mouth to toot with it?
Ummm, no thanks.

This is the worst craft I've seen. Really? This is flat out ugly. I'm a crafter and I can turn anything into a great craft. This is not a great craft.
