Jessica Simpson Reveals Pregnancy Skin Care Tips

Jessica Simpson isn't letting her pregnancy slow her down. In fact, she's taking advantage of this phase in her life to backup the efficacy of a new personalized skin care brand she's launching called BeautyMint.

"My baby really loves my water and is taking all of it," Simpson told Stylelist. "I have to use a lot of moisturizer and I thought that it could break my skin out but I now know that it does more things than hydrate."

The 31-year-old singer and designer also realize that she can't afford to skip washing her face. "Now that I am sweating a lot, I think it's important to cleanse more. Normally I'm lazy about it. I thought I could just use a wipe and put my creams on," she said. "You know how most cleansers make your skin feel dry, but with ours you can use it and go straight out the door."

From putting her breakouts in the spotlight as a spokesperson for Proactiv to uncovering how beauty is defined in various cultures on the VH1 reality series "The Price of Beauty," Simpson has made it her mission to help women feel and look good.

"When I worked with Proactiv I loved the experience, hearing testimonials and learning what works, but that was when I was younger and worried about acne," she said. "As I get older, I'm now concerned about aging. I don't want crow's feet or a hanging chin!"

Simpson has teamed up with celebrity aesthetician Nerida Joy, whose clients include Jennifer Garner, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Tyra Banks, to create a custom regimen that is simple, yet sophisticated enough to target various anti-aging issues. The line is made up of 4-piece and 5-piece systems ($39.99 and $49.99, respectively) that are recommended after completing a web-based skin care questionnaire.

"Not everyone has access to a great dermatologist or facialist. I've been privileged to work with the best in the business," said Simpson. "I love that you can go online, take a quiz and get the product at your door."

The blond beauty names the Ultra Replenishing Serum among her favorites as she's seen a dramatic transformation in her complexion. Its star ingredient, marine collagen, helps to make this product 50 percent clinically proven to clear skin, according to Joy.

With so many skin care brands promising luxe results without the hefty price tag, what exactly sets BeautyMint apart from the competition? Joy believes that it is a combination of phenomenal products bolstered by YouTube tutorials and customer service experts she's personally trained.

And when we asked Simpson what's the one style item she can't seem to live without during this stage of her pregnancy, she answered: "I'm still in my high heels. I will be giving birth in my high heels! I'm not that pregnant person who is walking around in sweats and flats. I feel like I'd trip and fall in them."

Well, strut beautifully and safely hot mama!

It sound like Jessica comes to her success from a personal and long time experience when it comes to her own skin care product. It is true about pregnancy taking a toll on the women’s body and skin. Although, the glowing part is true, and is not necessarily just sweat, as Jessica mentioned, however pregnant women do perspire a lot. I like how Jessica relates to other women, and not trying to make pregnancy a “walk in the park”. Her new skin care product may just be something that the doctor ordered. Its effectiveness and clinical results is very similar to this other online product Regenevive Skin Care from Lavis that delivers immediately visible results and lasting changes using the most naturally effective ingredients available to accomplish those results.

Thank God she realizes that she can't afford to skip washing her face. She is as dumb as a rock!
