Robert Palmer's Backup Singers: The Unexpected Icon

In the fashion world, Robert Palmer's backup singers have been an iconic point of reference ever since his "Addicted To Love" music video first premiered in 1986. The models (who also play instruments) were the epitome of 80s beauty with their severe, slicked-back hair, dramatic eye makeup and insanely red lips.
This week we're channeling those stoic, guitar-wielding girls in Palmer's classic video, who bear a strong resemblance to the looks we saw at both Gucci spring 2011 and YSL spring 2012 collections.
