Chloe Sevigny: Style Evolution (PHOTOS)

HuffPost Social Reading

Ever since Chloe Sevigny started her acting and modeling career in the early 90's, she's come to represent a certain indie chic. She's acted in countless movies of that ilk, including American Psycho and Boys Don't Cry, modeled for some of the best glossies such as Elle and Harper's Bazaar, and as of late, has designed some stellar collections for Opening Ceremony.

Click through the photos below to see how, over the years, she's gone from indie sweetheart to style icon.

In related news, you'll never guess who Sevigny was spotted with courtside.

The first movie I saw her in was If These Walls Could Talk: Two and I thought she did great! In fact these pictures really show how lovely she is-most of the dresses are way out there but she wears them well. In picture 28 of 32 she almost looks like Meg Ryan. I don't understand how many people think she is unattractive, to me she is a classic beauty and a versatile actress. I rarely watch movies anymore; they're either remakes or not worth the time but I'll always watch a Chloe Sevigny film. Keep up the good work, Chloe! You are a credit to your craft!

sorry - still have no clue who she is or in what movies she has been.

some of the dresses are nice but most of the outfits look silly or in very poor taste.

no, i am not special and "oh so self important." i just did not know who she is and why are you attacking my comment?

i really liked some of her special occasion dresses, the others were really awful.

Chole Sevigny is something to blink at but, she could not hold a candle to Natlie Woods, Susan Sarandon, Nicole Kidman and scores more.

The more I look and think, I appears she could play the role of a Russian orphan dressed up by her pimp.

I have never seen what people think is so stylish about this woman. She looks ridiculous 99% of the time.

"Chloe! ..gotta go through the dismal swamps where you are....". She waded, tarmac splashed and left its marks... crawl through next time and upper body will match legs. Outstanding!!! (just a touch of humor...don't get excited).

What about her award winning role in Brown Bunny??
