Holiday Crafts: Pinecone Wreath

Hanging a wreath on the front door is a simple yet festive way to welcome guests, and this fantastic pinecone wreath is no exception. To make it you'll need pinecones, a foam wreath form, a hot glue gun and a wide ribbon. First, you'll want to gather a lot (and we mean a lot) of pinecones. Be sure to look for all different shapes and sizes, especially some tiny pinecones for filling in empty space at the end. Then, use a hot glue gun to attach the pinecones to your foam form (you may want to paint this dark brown so any openings will blend in). Once you are done, hang it up with a wide ribbon like in this photo. If you're a little more adventurous, forgo the natural look and dip some of the pinecones in paint or cover a few with glitter before glueing them to the frame.
