The Saks Fifth Avenue Holiday Windows 2011 and The Store's Best Buys (PHOTOS)

Window shopping is always more exciting during the holiday season, especially when department stores around the country deck theirs out in the most creative and captivating of ways. This year brings some of the most magical, technologically advanced holiday windows, and we'll be profiling the best of the best (along with the best gift buys) from each major store.
To start off, we're taking a look at Saks Fifth Avenue's flagship location, which unveiled their snowflake and bubble-themed windows on Monday night in New York.
Each space houses a one-of-a-kind dress created by Saks' roster of specially commissioned designers that include Stella McCartney, Alexander McQueen, Proenza Schouler, Nina Ricci, Olivier Theyskens and several more. The snowflakes and bubbles, symbols of joy and hope, have been integrated into a 3D light show that will be projected onto the building's facade. For the kids, there's even a tie-in to the popular children's book "Who Makes The Snow." And if fashion, fun and technology weren't enough, there's a Fiat 500 customized by Gucci to ogle as well.
Take a tour of this year's holiday windows at Saks Fifth Avenue below, and and scroll down further to see our picks for the store's best gift items.
