In her newest Diablo Cody flick, “Young Adult,” Charlize Theron plays Mavis Gary, a prom queen who peaked in high school. But on the red carpet, the South African beauty keeps up the momentum with glamourous gowns, thigh-high frocks and chic blazers.

What's really cool is how she can make such a wide range of choices look so good. Everything from classic gowns to very architectural ones to sort of faux-casual to super-sexy -- she utilizes the whole gamut successfully.

That's really cool.
