This isn't a gift idea- it's a great decorating tip. Like many others, I receive a million- (well, maybe not a million) Christmas family/kids picture cards. I always would hang randomly on fireplace, walls, archways, etc. They looked good- not great. However, I thought of a way to display where they look gorgeous! On my dining room table, I put either red, green, or gold linen Christmas cloth. On top of it I put a clear plastic- and, as the pics arrive, I put them under the plastic- right on the table. Always makes a huge hit will all of my guests! Also, they can all be seen at once- and nobody misses any. Doing this now for about 5 years- and so many of my family and friends now do the same. Oh- I forgot- I say a solid color, so pics are easier to see, and, certainly doesn't have to be linen!

I really like them, too, but I wonder where you can get Scrabble tiles without taking them from a game?

Receiving home made gifts are the best kind. Knowing someone was thinking about you while taking the time and trouble to make a cute, functional or a down right silly gift is so very nice. Those types of gifts are the ones I always remember.
