Donatella Versace has famously proclaimed her love for the yellow diamond ring her late brother, Gianni, gave her before he died. So, it's only fitting that the showstopping jewel was the inspiration for the brand's latest fragrance, Yellow Diamond.
If you can't afford a rare gem like Donatella's, the fresh new scent offers a happy substitute. A blend of citron, pear sorbet, bergamot and neroli, the multifaceted fragrance also sparkles with hints of orange blossom, freesia, mimosa, ambery woods and refined musk. Like its namesake showpiece, the combination is luxe but not over-the-top. By the end of the day, I was left with just a sweet, citrusy essence.
