Classic gold digger, with Kennedy PR machine that turned her in to a princess. "She married an old ugly Greek billionaire to protect her children from Kennedy family". Yeah, right.

She went through $20 million of Onassis' money like it was water.

She was his widow.I read in the Heyman book on Jackie that JFK only left her $200,000.The kids got $1 M each at birth, from old Joe.Old Joe also paid Jackie $ 1 M to stay with JFK after she lost the first child and before they had Caroline.

Glamorous? I say skinny! But then what's the saying you can never be too rich or too skinny? These two lived up to both their whole lives.

There we go again, you can't have a discussion about the Kennedys, without bringing up the Obamas. Even supporters had to squint to see the resemblance three years ago, nobody's buying it today.

Why didn't the wannabes, the people who think rich people should give their money away, criticize the Kennedys? Answer: Back then, the government was not giving so many handouts to the lazy, no-good and illegal ones so they didn't expect it.

The Kennedy's were pro civil rights and took us away from the restrictions in thinking of the 1950s. It was a new era and they were rich but not obnoxious at the time.

AND, with the Kennedy's money - It was earned running Irish whiskey into America during the time drinking liquor was banned in America. Old man Kennedy had everthing in trust funds and there was nothing that the Kennedys
wanted to "give" away anyway.

Yes, Jackie Kennedy Onassis was a stylish, elegant woman, however, those of you who say ridiculously nasty things about Mrs. Obama are just sad, prejudiced people. The only reason that you feel that way is because Mrs. Obama is an intelligent, well educated, chic and stylish Black woman who doesn't fit the nauseating stereotype of Black women that's been permeating throughout this society for far too long. You just can't deal with it can you....

The Kennedy era will live on for a very long time or at least till all who live thru those darks days after his assination. Jackie was the most classic lady that had every lived in the White House and did more to clean it up after some of the other First Ladys didn't bother with. Class Lady and there will never be another.

Kennedy presidency was very unpopular when he was alive, except for New York based media who live in their own world.

I don't know what planet you lived on but he was one of the most popular Presidents we have had since FDR. He would have been re-elected by a land slide. You must be a real die hard GOP fan.

It's odd. There seems to be more racist remarks coming from commenter's who profess to be black. Why is that? Get over it, move on.

We don't let the dead rest in this country. Still talking about Marilyn Monroe who's gone nearly fifty years ago.
Give them a break.

Marilyn Monroe is being talked about because there is a new movie about her. She was a lovely woman who lived a sometimes wonderful and sometimes tragic life.
