Lord And Taylor's 2011 Holiday Windows And Best Gifts (PHOTOS)
Window shopping is always more exciting during the holiday season, especially when department stores around the country deck out theirs in the most creative and captivating of ways. This year brings some of the most magical, technologically advanced holiday windows and we'll be profiling the best of the best (along with the best gift buys) from each major store.
Today, we're exploring Lord & Taylor, which continue their annual theme of "What Is Christmas Made Of?" This year, the store asked children from several New York shelters and schools to create drawings based on what they think Christmas is all about. A few of those drawings were then chosen to inspire the design and story of each display. With mechanical figurines that ice skate and trim trees among other things, these animated windows give everyone that holiday rush of joy.
