13 Stars To Step Up Their Style In 2012 (PHOTOS)

HuffPost Social Reading

It's 2012 and the new year brings resolutions, lifestyle changes, work goals, etc, etc, etc. But what are we really excited about? Style changes! Personally, I'll be incorporating more color into my wardrobe. For example, my first day back at work will be marked by pink pants paired with a purple blouse and a red belt. Clownish? Maybe. Brave? Definitely. But enough about me, let's talk celebrity fashion. 2011 was marked with some major red-carpet moments: Cate Blanchett in Givenchy Couture at the Academy Awards was enough to have me swooning on my couch, while newcomer Emma Stone in Calvin Klein blew me away at the Golden Globes. However, some of my other favorite ladies have been relying on old faithfuls for too long. Already gorgeous in their own right, these 13 stunners could take some chances in the coming months. I've paired them with my favorite looks from the New York spring collections and who knows? Maybe they'll take the hint. Here's hoping.

Lindsey needs new everything, includeing parents. If she was a car you could remove the radiator cap and drive a new car under it , replace the cap and close the hood, might work.

Stars...please do NOT listen to this stylist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just awlful style suggestions.............!
11:10 PM on 01/05/2012
half of the suggestions were awful what I want stylists to do is to stop stars from that horrible puff lip and botox around the mouth it makes stars look as though they have down syndrome features around the mouth.I guess it is supposed to stop the smile lines so they look younger but you know it as soon as you see it and figure wow she must be older than I thought if she had that done.make it stop

I don't get why Kate Middleton is on this. She doesn't have a problem with style.

Her biggest problem is looking clean. Any pic she's in she looks like she needs a shower, no matter what's put on her. I don't get her appeal.

I think thin women are great, after all, they`re just going to gain weight later in life, right ? I think I live in the land of the blimps here in PA. lol All that`s left are retired, aging, toothless or crack addicted women. lol

Your taste in fashion is unimpressive to say the least. Just because it walked down the runway doesn't mean it should be worn. Many of the ones you choose look like dustrags.

she needs to be ignored till she gets her act together

Whoever is choosing the garment's for the stars and celebs in your article needs to get glasses, some of those things are not designs but pure CRAP, that is not fashion journalism, it is telling the names that bought the press time with gifts, and the "journalist" has proven that as with most fashion journalists, they do not know shiite about what makes a woman look good, bad taste is quite common in the good ole US of A.
