Amanda Peet: Style Evolution (PHOTOS)

HuffPost Social Reading

You’d be hard-pressed to find actress Amanda Peet in skintight, curve-squeezing frocks or with a hemline shorter than her knees. Instead, the “A Lot Like Love” star opts for demure and lady-like looks, such as trapeze dresses and A-line gowns. She even chooses loose, boyfriend and bootcut jeans over the ubiquitous skinny style.

See more of Peet’s style as she celebrates her 40th birthday this Wednesday with her screenwriter husband, David Benihoff, and two daughters, Frances Pen and Molly June.

And have a look through our many other Style Evolutions here.

Really? She's more "lady-like" because she's covered up? That's some sexism right there. Hollywood tells these actors how to dress, and then people like you get on here, shame them for wearing "revealing" clothes, and then praise this one woman because she wears something more subdued. Please. Clothes don't make the person.

Everytime I've seen her on Letterman, she has the dumb third-grade ponytail. Ugh.
