Miss Woodley was amazing as the eldest daughter in "The Descendants" .... I applaud her performance. She is obviously very talented and lovely, and I will be the watching the ascendancy of her career with anticipation. I do think she looks lovely in this "little lace dress". Being that she is 20 years old, I do think that the dress is "age-appropriate". If she were any older, I would find the "look" a bit jejune. I, too am happy to see actresses and other public personalities who display a sense of dignity and decorum, when it comes to dress, and I say this in a very NON-prudish manner. There is nothing "wrong" with dressing in a "sexy" manner when it is projected with the appropriate amount of self-confidence and assurance, dignity, and elegance. Unfortunately, FAR too FEW women in the public eye, seem to have an innate understanding of how to accomplish this, and in my personal view, usually end up looking tacky, cheap and very UN-fashionable. Kudos to Miss Woodley for achieving the opposite!

Not sure I agree that she was the "best" actor, but she did do a wonderful job. And I love her in this dress. Lovely, stylish and age-appropriate. I hate it when young actresses dress provocatively. It always looks like they are trying too hard to be old before their time. Guess I'm old-fashioned, but modesty never goes out of style for any age woman.
