How To Get Emma Stone's Signature Cat-Eye & Bold Lip Look (VIDEO)

HuffPost Social Reading

In a short amount of time, Emma Stone has managed to wow us not only on-screen (she owned last summer with hits like "The Help" and "Crazy, Stupid, Love") but on the red carpet as well.

Her peach Calvin Klein dress from last year's Golden Globes and that pink-on-red Giambattista Valli sweater/skirt combo have been seared into our memories (in a totally good way). Though she's known for killing it in the fashion department, it's hard to miss her on-point hair and makeup choices, too. When we chatted with the "The Amazing Spider-Man" star last November, we claimed that Stone single-handedly "pioneered the hot pink lip trend." To that, she said she was honored. Nonetheless, her take on beauty is always a combination of smart, sexy and cool, mostly because she's mastered a formula that works for her: A flick of cat-eye liner and a bright lip. Simple enough.

We've teamed up with makeup artist Annamarie Tendler who's broken down the steps behind Stone's go-to look. Watch the video, then take a look at the actress' style evolution through the past few years.

Also, the look was easy but the lip color was too dark for that model.

Emma Stone is not cute at all. Also, Drew's makeup looked awful in that commercial.

How unfortunate the OLD and not great look is again making a momentary fad rerun. Let's go back fifty years when, among others, Maria Callas the opera diva popularized this 'cat eye' look. Now let's just skip the raging twenties and do a little hop, skip and jump to a time when Egyptians made the look all the rage. How very quaint. It's a look most guy abhor excepting on a who---r-----, oopsie, oh never mind. Pretty young lady pre-that horrid over done hair and makup artist go a hold of her. Please ladies, if you want retro the guy's dig the go back to the wonderful simple natural look, just a tad of this and that, and you'll look delicious.

Mentioning the name of products and shades used would of been nice.

The blush and eyeshadow are from Nars(I'm not sure of the shades) and the grey handeled brushes are from mac and the goldish handeled brushes are Make up forever.
