'Remodeled': New TV Show On The CW Stars Modeling Agent Paul Fisher (And Lots Of Drama)

HuffPost Social Reading

"I don't find it funny," Paul Fisher shouts at struggling Minneapolis modeling agent Brita Jackson, "She lost 16 models and that pisses me off!"

Fisher knows what he is yelling about, as a modeling agent since the 1980s who has represented supermodels such as Stephanie Seymour, Carla Bruni, Carre Otis and Naomi Campbell. On The CW's new show, "Remodeled," Fisher travels across the country transforming middle-America's mini modeling agencies into a collective of premium agencies titled The Network. "I'm looking out for the little guy," he says.

Along with his fashion-goth assistant, Joseph Villanueva, Fisher visits Brita's agency Arquette. Fisher plans to transform Arquette into the IMG of the midwest, but the process won't be easy. "Translation," Villanueva deadpans, "there's going to be a lot of screaming and crying before Paul leaves."

Only one gal will stand up to him, his number two Olga Tavarez, who explains her success, "Paul seems to intimidate everyone he comes across, but not me so much." While Fisher is in Minneapolis, Tavarez takes four of The Network's top young stars to try to book jobs at New York Fashion Week.

Will Fisher find success outside of New York? Will Tavarez help their new faces to land gigs? In the first episode alone he manages to sign Kris Humphries' gorgeous sister Kaela, a plus-size model, to an exclusive contract with his network and we'll have to tune in to see what happens next. We'll be watching... for a few episodes at least.

Absolutely love this show! It gives viewers a true look behind the scenes of the modeling industry. Even though Paul's a tough guy I feel his mission behind it is what makes the show wonderful. I hope one day we really do see a change in the modeling world. His assistant in the show is great as well, he spices things up a bit! I can't wait to watch episode two tonight!

Unlike all the other modeling shows on TV Remodeled actually shows us the essential steps that both an agency and model take to get on top! No BS involved all of it is real and there is a lot to learn and to enjoy by watching this show!

I love ReModeled. Thank God the CW finally put out a show thats more than the typical glance into the REAL world of modeling. Most shows skim over whats real in the modeling world, but not this one. Definitely glad I caught the premiere and I'm going to watch it again tonight when the CW airs it again at 8 on the West.
