Jason Wu Orchid Rain Candle: Will Michelle Obama Be Stocking Up?

HuffPost Social Reading

Nothing says you've finally made it in fashion like your own fragrance. But a signature candle? Jason Wu has deviated from the path a little, and we're pretty excited about the results.

This spring, the designer (in collaboration with Nest Fragrances) is launching a gorgeously-luxe smelling (and looking!) candle. The scent blends white orchid, nashi pear, pomegranate and goji berry with hints of pink pepper and coconut. Wu, who acknowledges the importance of flowers in his designs, knew he wanted to incorporate florals into both the scent and packaging -- a matte, ceramic container stamped with a black orchid motif (a nod to his Spring 2012 collection). Being one of the most glamourous candles we've smelled in a while, our money says a few of these are headed (or so we'd like to think) to the White House.
