Color Palette: Shades Of Style From Derek Lam Spring 2012 Show (VIDEO)
Right now, we have the sandy and ocean-inspired colors from Derek Lam's spring 2012 runway show on our brains...along with thoughts of faraway beaches. We were surprised to find that the bold black accent in this ensemble doesn't stray too far off beat from the overall look of beige and varying tones of teal. To bring these hues into the home, we're imagining a table set with sea-foam-green bottles and glasses along with a tablecloth in a pale blue-and-turquoise wide stripe pattern. We'd finish the tablescape off with beige or creamy yellow plates and tableware with onyx-black handles...to add subtle impact.
