The Row's Striped, Cotton Pajama-Inspired Pants: Talk Off

HuffPost Social Reading

Talk Off is a column in which our editors spontaneously debate a trend. This week these striped, cotton pajama-inspired pants by The Row are on the agenda.

Our readers on twitter had a lot to say, as well. How would you wear the pants?

$640? Are you freaking kidding me? Horrible pants, I wouldn't paid .99 for them!!
03:46 PM on 02/02/2012
To put it in very simple English: HELL NO!!!! I wouldn't even sleep in them because if I died in my sleep, I wouldn't want to be caught dead in something that hideous. Burn 'em and don't look back!

why is she wearing heels??

To try to hide the fact that the pants are so damned ugly! At least you're looking at the right image in the photo. Smart one!

Do they make them for men? I'm old . . . and comfort trumps style for me.

It would look great on an inmate !!

I might wear them around the house with a solid white tee or tank ( or blue that matches the stripe ) so that they look like casual capris, but that's it. Come to think of it, why bother with the dumb pajama pants? Just throw on a pair of lightweight capris.

No, they aren't "super cute"...they look like a typical fashion designer's idea of super cute.

Those pants look like something a 19th century railroad engineer or a convict would be wearing.
10:09 AM on 02/02/2012
What the heck? Seriously these are what they call pants?
10:03 AM on 02/02/2012
Those shoes are ugly, also.
10:03 AM on 02/02/2012
lol..lmao why wear regular shoes> slippers needed. any.. anyone who even thinks about wearing these things
out in public should have their head examined. Its called pride in ones appearance. Some things should not be out in public and this is one of them. By the way.. the PJ's are ugly and I would not even wear these raggy looking things in the privacy of my own home. tasteless.

The PJ's look like they were issued at a women's prison but for around the house, they're OK, however, those shoes need to go!
