Clark's Botanicals Intense Radiance Mask: We Tried It And Now Our Skin Looks Amazing

HuffPost Social Reading

When it comes to masks, I am admittedly late to the party. Having only really discovered their many benefits within the last year, I've been on a tear recently, trying each one I come across. I now consider them the dark horse of the skincare game, in that they're the most effective thing you can do for your skin outside of a facial.

I had heard good things about Clark's Botanicals Intense Radiance Mask, but it being winter I was a little leery how my already bone-dry skin would take to a clay-based formula. While I knew it would address oiliness and blackheads, I hadn't expected all the other amazing side effects. Or rather if or how my skin would respond to them. The winter wreaks havoc on my skin, resulting in a sad combination of dryness, breakouts and irritated, red spots; I apply moisturizer multiple times a day to remedy the situation, and usually with little success.

So when I washed off the mask I was more than a little surprised. My skin was incredibly hydrated (even glowy), my skin tone was even and smooth and the little lines around eyes were basically gone. The next morning, my skin looked even more refreshed. What makes this mask so great (and justifies the price tag, I feel) is its ability to address a whole slew of issues: dryness, aging, acne. This is undoubtedly due to its multi-tasking ingredients: A blend of moisturizing algae extract, the anti-inflammatory plant extract, white genepi and a cell-repairing peptide complex. Essentially, a one-stop shop for a revived, younger-looking complexion.
