Inside George Clooney's Los Angeles House (VIDEO)

At long last, Hollywood's most famous bachelor is offering the world a rare glimpse into his private life. George Clooney is opening up his Los Angeles house for all to see on CBS News this Wednesday evening. Let's just say our DVRs are set.
For CBS, Clooney's house -- along with business tycoon Warren Buffett's office and legendary musician Jon Bon Jovi's Jersey estate -- will kick off the network's revival of Person to Person, a very popular program during 1953-1958 that featured TV interviews with stars inside their homes. The CBS teaser gives us a quick glance of Clooney's kitchen and basketball court, but according to People.com, we'll get to sneak a peek of the Oscar winner's screening room and bar as well. And while it's a widely discussed topic that Clooney seems never to commit in his love life, it appears to be different when it comes to real estate -- he has lived in this house for almost 20 years with his lifelong canine partner, Einstein.
But for all the manly man mystique that surrounds Clooney, one thing stood out in this preview clip that really let the star's down-to-earth personality shine through. Says Clooney, 'A house is a place that you would live in, but a home is a place where your family and friends are a part of.' We can't agree with him more, and perhaps Clooney...is a family guy after all.
Person to Person airs this Wednesday, February 8 at 8PM on CBS News.

This comment has not yet been postedGeorge's is cool, but, there's no pleasing many people, not sure, why most bothered watching if you all get your knickers in a twist about it ? You all have remotes...Use them.
He's done well for himself, he's had the house for TWENTY years, unlike many, who change houses like they change their Socks :)
LOVE his sense of humor (must have some British blood in him somewhere).
He loves his animals and that's a plus in my book.
So as my daughter would say "DON'T HATE"
And if he can do good for other Countries by using his fame, then go for it !
People like to listen to me, as I have a British (cockney) accent and live in America, now if i was famous as well, I'd use it to help where I could, although my passion would be with shelter animals.
There's like 300 plus blooming channels on the telly, why would you watch something about someone you don't even like ?
So, George Clooney IS in fact a phenomenal actor/writer/director!
And as for your comment that "he ain't nothing special".....you must also have no idea of all the time and money he has spent on Humanitarian efforts, which you can look up yourself if you want to actually know the facts before making yourself sound like someone who's motive for commenting could only be out of jealousy!
I personally feel that the man is incredibly humble and never seems to take himself too seriously. When compared to many other famous people, he seems to be the one that ANYBODY could hang out with and be made to feel right at home with.
