In addition to a Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award, Laura Linney deserves recognition for her classy yet modern style. The actress, known for her roles in “Mystic River,” “Kinsey,” and “The Big C,” traded in peekaboo lace and drab styles for empire waist dresses, statuesque column gowns and cute cocktail frocks.
Linney streamlines her looks with solid colors. She’s worn variations of yellow, purple and red, but also sticks to tried-and-true black. She is a New Yorker, after all.
