Chloë Moretz's Style Evolution (PHOTOS)

HuffPost Social Reading

Chloë Moretz is well on her way to joining the ranks of tween starlets who are currently dominating the red carpet. While Hailee Steinfeld maintains a cute image in Miu Miu and Elle Fanning pulls off Rodarte with ease, Moretz has tried out a more mature look. Our verdict? She nails it.

With hits like “Kick Ass” and “Hugo” under her belt, it’s not surprising that designers are clamoring to dress the Georgia native. Moretz, who once wore poufy gowns, denim and shapeless frocks, now opts for sleek Calvin Klein shifts, edgy Stella McCartney lace pants and Proenza Schouler minis. She recently channeled a Disney princess look at the New York premiere of “Hugo” in a tulle dress, but it was Dolce & Gabbana –- so it’s okay.

Another sign that the starlet has dropped her teenage image? No more air kisses, adorable peace signs and coy, over-the-shoulder glances. Instead, Moretz has perfected the hand-on-hip move. They grow up so quickly, don't they?

Check out more of Moretz’s style as she turns 15 this Friday, and see which designer gifted the star a classic luxury bag.

And have a look through our many other Style Evolutions here.

Classy young woman. Too bad other girls your age and with your taste do not take your lead.

Who is dressing this kid?? She is as cute as a button, but some of the outfits are not right for her age and some are down right horrid.

Some of the last photos especially the white dress with her hair up, this does not look like a young lady turning 15 this Friday but more a young woman in her early twentys. Girls that look like this need the words jail bait written on their forehead.
