Miley Cyrus' Sleek New Bob (PHOTO, POLL)

HuffPost Social Reading

Another day. Another Disney starlet with a new hairdo.

While teeny-boppers were going insane over Demi Lovato tweeting a photo of her transformation from redhead to blond babe on Sunday, Miley Cyrus made a Twitter comeback unveiling a much more mature look. The 19-year-old "Hannah Montanna" star posted a picture of her sporting a chic bob with the message: "Got ANOTHER hair cut! You likey?!"

However, the reaction wasn't what Cyrus expected. "All y'all are saying its soooo short! Only cut about an inch & a half off tonight! In total about 5 inches!!! I love it! So liberating," she replied. And I say more power to you, Miley!

While I'm getting a total Jennifer Aniston vibe with this blunt bob, the cut complements her oval face shape and big brown eyes. What do you think?

I think it suits her just fine. Everyone needs a new look once in a while and she's got one. Good choice!

It's not that drastic a change. It looks like her hair extensions were removed and maybe a little was trimmed off her real hair. Still, I'm glad she ditched the extensions. They are not attractive.

Love it, I really did not think long hair was all that flattering on her. I think she needs to have a face framing cut as she does have a wider shaped face. I think it slims it down a little. I hope she sticks to this type of cut.

Im sure she did not cut her hair that much. She just removed all the extensions she was wearing and chopped an inch off her real hair. Its still kinda cute.

The best way to get Miley Cyrus hair, either get it at the Salon where she got it cut or ask her for a lock of it..... Now, to duplicate her hair style, take picture to salon and say, I want that look. thankyou.

A bob is never a good look and short hair on a woman is only for the old or balding. Very bad look.Shes still slutty though but now looks like Casey Anthony

Say it ain't so, Miley! I hope this new do is just a wig and that you really didn't let some hairdresser whack off all your beautiful, long, flowing hair. Hairdressers love to cut, you know, and it's no fun for them to just "trim" the split ends off someone's (anyone's) long, healthy, flowing hair, so they'll always try to convince their clients to go for a new short whacked-off do. I hope you didn't fall for this and really let them whack off your hair. Every (and I mean EVERY) woman, regardless of her face, looks better and more feminine and prettier with beautiful hair, and beautiful hair means, long, FLOWING hair. There's nothing beautiful about short, bobbed hair that looks spikey and dikey. Please say it's just a wig.

How about older women with graying or thinning hair? Do you think they look better with long hair?

She looks like a much younger version of Hilary Clinton.

What did they shoot that photo through, a thick gauze? Oh, no non, no, today photo shop can, as is evident in this snap, make anyone look great. Uh, yeah, it's about the hair cut - who's fooling whom? Whoever that pic is a combo of looks down right perty!
