New York Fashion Week Fall 2012: Pat Cleveland's Daughter Anna Von Ravenstein Models For Zac Posen

HuffPost Social Reading

Sunday night, Zac Posen recruited top models such as Coco Rocha (who opened and closed the show), Hilary Rhoda and more for his fall 2012 fashion show at the David Koch theater in Lincoln Center.

The A-list front row included stars such as Dita von Teese, Kate Mara, Leigh Lezark and editors like Anna Wintour, but it was model Pat Cleveland who got our attention. Seated next to Miss Jay Alexander (the sassy runway coach from "America's Next Top Model"), Cleveland was watching the models carefully.

"I thought they all looked gorgeous," she said of their runway walks. "They looked like princesses, it was amazing."

As the only show she has attended during New York Fashion Week so far, Cleveland had special incentive to be there, "My daughter was the one in purple! I am so proud. Isn't she beautiful?"

Cleveland's daughter, Anna Von Ravenstein, clearly hasn't fallen too far from the tree. Unlike her mother, however, who was one of Halston's muses and would swirl and twirl down the runway, Von Ravenstein's walk was strong, serious and suited to the drama of Posen's show.

As to whether the mother/daughter duo will hit the runway together? "I would love to!" Cleveland said, "I hope we can soon!"
