Inspiration: Roy Lichtenstein's iconic print, "Hopeless"

Makeup: She is a superhero, a bionic woman," explained NARS makeup artist Francelle Daly. To capture the women (and the dramatic feeling) seen in many of the legendary Pop artist's work, Daly created the illusion that the models were shedding tears. "You see all these heroic girls, and you don't know if they're happy or sad, but they're emotional." She began by lining the eye with NARS Carpates Eyeliner Stylo (a felt tip pen liner) all the way up to the crease. "To add an effect, I applied Jungle Red Lip Liner right in the crease," Daly said. "It gives it a pop of color. I wanted to lift the black tone a little bit." Daly then used the same red liner to create tear shapes below the inner corner of each eye. She proceeded to coat a Q-tip in white eyeliner, brushing it onto the lower lashes. On the skin, she used NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer SPF 30, but a shade lighter on each girl, to give an effect of being pale for fall. She finished the look with NARS Multiple in Undress Me, a shimmery pink which gave the skin a dewy cast.
