The Real Stars Of New York Fashion Week (Video)

HuffPost Social Reading

As New York's Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week winds down, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate the real heroes: the people who make everything happen behind-the-scenes.

We chatted with a check-in girl, from Blue Stripe PR, who was working the guest list for Porter Grey's presentation at Lincoln Center, a security guard, who used to be a high school teacher and has now been working in security with his father for over 15 years, and a show producer who spends months helping the designers achieve their vision. Watch the video above as they run around last-minute, protect the A-list celebrities who attend shows and handle uninvited guests.

Thank you to IMG/Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.

I don't think most people know how many people are invovled in production of these shows, and people think its glamorous when for most people its a lot of hard work and little pay.

In lieu of the exposed invitation, as just for simple common sense, I would NEVER SHARE any of my ideas, creative talents, etc with this bracket of persons, because they are the ones who are most predatory like on everyone better ideas and knowing they have the MONEY to act upon it...and who gets the notoreity to credit for someone else's better ideas and or talent. There are so many within the White Collar Classes to 1% who are nothing, more but LIARS AND CHEATERS in the truer MOTIVE and gaining more fame and wealth for themselves!!!
