Elizabeth Olsen's Style Evolution (PHOTOS)

HuffPost Social Reading

Ever since Elizabeth Olsen’s breakout role in the indie flick Martha Marcy May Marlene, the blond starlet has been landing on almost everyone's best-dressed lists. Not one to borrow from Mary-Kate and Ashley's tailored and vintage styles, the California actress prefers more youthful looks from the likes of Alexander McQueen, Proenza Schouler and, of course, The Row.

While Olsen can pull off a sexy gown with a thigh-high slit from her sisters’ label with ease and elegance, she also knows how to layer and accessorize with statement jewelry to show some personality. For example, she turned a simple Missoni for Target shift dress into a preppy ensemble by adding oxfords and a chunky, gold necklace.

Check out more of Olsen’s style in the gallery below to celebrate her 23rd birthday this Thursday and vote on her best look.

I can't get over how much she looks like her sister's, only prettier. I come from a large family and I don't look like any one, really, their all olive skined w/dark hair and brown eyes, and then there's me NOT looking like any of them, like I was adopted, thank goodness for my one Aunt that I have the same coloring, other wise I would have wondered, and none of use look alike either, except for two of my brothers, they resemble each other some what, other wise you wouldn't believe we are related. Strange how these things happen.

The most gorgeous thing she wears is a smile. It's sad that you never see the other two smiling..why are they so...blah??

At last, a HAPPY looking Olsen, not like her sisters who look like they stepped out of the old soap "Dark Shadows" or even worse. Would someone please tell them it is ok to smile, and I mean a REAL smile. Plus, they don't always have to suck in their cheeks in an effort to look...well, I haven't got a clue.
Thank you, Elizabeth for looking like a real person. May you not lose your pleasant demeanor as you grow older.
