Is CC Cream ready to replace BB Cream as the next big thing in beauty? We find out!

Over the past several years, beauty brands have boasted about their "life-changing" beauty product called BB Cream. The cream known as "beauty balm," promises to do it all. It primes, tints, and moisturizes all at the same time while leaving your skin looking flawless. It was only a matter of time before a new sheriff entered the beauty arena and this time, it's name has a striking resemblance to its predecessor, CC Cream.

CC cream does everything but fix your kitchen sink. According to Juice Beauty, who was the first to develop the product in the US, CC Cream repairs damaged skin, evens skin, improves elasticity, balances skin tone, protects skin, moisturizes, and reduces fine lines. Prices for the product range between $25-$45 and can be found in Ulta stores nationwide.

Now the question is: What's the difference between BB Cream and CC Cream?

Alexis Wolfer editor of TheBeautyBean.com told ABC News, "In general, BB creams tend to be more preventative and CC creams more corrective. So while a BB cream will likely have anti-aging elements and treat breakouts, a CC cream will focus on existing issues."

Whether or not CC Cream will be the next big thing in beauty, one thing is for sure, we can only expect DD Cream to be right around the corner.
