Mike & Chris make hoodies "haute"

Do you know Mike & Chris? Up until a few weeks ago, when I was flipping through a People magazine in a waiting room, I didn't either, but you're about to get to know them.Mike Gonzalez and Christine Park-Gonzalez are a husband and wife designing duo from Los Angeles who are re-inventing the hoodie. Yes, the hoodie - that ratty old sweatshirt thing with a hood attached that you throw over your yellowed wife beater tank top when you run out to the market. Mike & Chris' hoodies are made of soft fleece in antiqued colors and always feature "unconventional styling" like oversized buttons and brass hardware. That's all well and good, but the hoodies that are really gaining some attenion are their leather hoodies, like the Jesse (shown). I absolutely adore this hoodie, and most certainly would wear it to a rockin' dinner with the girls. Or to the market.
