Drugstore Beauty Queen: Crest Whitestrips

crest white stripsLet me start by setting some context.

I went to the dentist today to have my two front teeth fixed because not only were they stained from all the coffee, tea, red wine, and diet Coke I drink, but they also had cavities in them! I didn't even know people could get cavities in their front teeth! (Okay, I knew they could, but I had never heard of it.)

Let me tell you that having the cavities filled were no big deal - my dental insurance covered that, but since they were my front teeth, I had to have special filling material and other treatments to match the colors that basically cost me as much as, oh about three week's worth of Dresses of the Day.

So to save all of of my favorite Styledash readers the same kind of pocketbook pain if ever you have to have your front teeth done, I am recommending that you just go ahead and keep your pearly whites white yourself with something like Crest Whitestrips. I used to use the Whitestrips to keep my front teeth sprakling white, but stopped because...well, I don't know why. If only! If only I had stuck with it and did an occasional touch-up, I wouldn't have had to pay almost fifty times the cost of them to have it done with my dentist.

Crest Whitestrips are $19.99 on Amazon, but you can buy them at any drugstore.
