Did Bob Dole go under the knife?

Filed under: Style in the News, Skin Care, Celebrities with Style

Much like the high school reunion at which you feel an insatiable compulsion to size up your former classmates for evidence of weight gain or premature aging, Gerald Ford's funeral has thrown the faces of headlines past back under the light of public scrutiny.

For the most part, I would say that the movers and shakers of yore just seem older (Kissinger, Greenspan, Clinton). The only person who doesn't look older is former presidential candidate Bob Dole. In fact, he's actually started to look suspiciously like Kirk Douglas.

I don't know about you, but when someone starts looking like Kirk Douglas, I can only assume one thing: brother has had some work. Don't believe me? Well, I've collected some photo evidence that might just change your mind.

Exhibit A: Video still of Bob Dole being award the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1996.
(note the jowls, crows feet, and deep frown lines)

Exhibit B: A video still of Bob Dole discussing the life of Gerald Ford on the Fox Network last week.

(note disappearance of jowls and crows feet alongside the bizarrely taut skin)

Call me crazy, but I believe that man has had a face lift.
