A couple close friends of mine are getting married, and -- while, thankfully, they're shooting for something fairly low-key -- this has allowed me insight into the weird, weird world of wedding culture.

Apparently, bridesmaids dresses are always ugly. I presume this is so everyone looks worse than the bride on her special day, but it must suck for all those women who worked their asses off to help their friend/sister throw a huge event, only to be forced to wear something hideous.

Now there's payback. UglyDress.com has cataloged the worst-ever bridesmaids dresses for all of us to laugh at. Hurrah! You can search by category: Bad Patterns, Bad Color, Bad Shape, etc -- or just cut to the chase, and check out the worst of the worst, like "Flat Chest Dress," "The Pregnant Prom Dress," or, my personal favorite, "Married in a Whorehouse."
