Boys, need some heels to go with those leggings?

I consider myself to be pretty open-minded when it comes to breaking the fashion gender-barrier and have even been known to wear a tie just for kicks from time to time, but I've got to say ... this is ridiculous. I certainly hope this doesn't ever catch on ... at least until someone comes out with some better-looking shoes. Yuck.
And yes, that's a guy in the picture.

sad day indeed unless you are young, slender, sweet, and extremely gay. but generally gays have better taste than that

I think men wore clothes like that in the 1700's! Pantaloons, dresscoats, wigs and heels! talk about full circle fashion!

Boots are the way most guys look taller. If someone want to get outragous then good luck.

OH MY GOD! Prince has finally cracked the fashion industry. I remember Prince wearing a very similar shoe in the 80's and 90's. Now if they could just let men feel some labor contractions, my evil plan will be complete.

Hey, doesn't anyone remember watching PBS specials that showed the French monarchy wearing heels - in fact, it was the King "Louis" shoe that popularized heels for men and women alike (although certainly not the first heel). I guess fashion just circulates - only this time in centuries instead of decades.

Breaking gender barriers? Of course you're a fan of it Annie Wu, you're a woman. So why is it that when a man goes to break his barrier, it's considered ridiculous?

The sad part is that this isn't even new. Actually, it's kind of outdated (not the picture, the "fashion" of men wearing highheels). But still, it's REALLY hard to imagine anyone other than a gay/bi guy wearing those.

Haven't you heard of the Kinky Boot boot factory? Their men's boots are way hotter.Though they were made for drag queens.

as rediculous as this is, i hav to say that i hope this sticks and womens heels go out so that men will finally understand the pain we go through daily. for many years, womens high heels hav been a major trend. we kno that society makes things impossible for women by making things like tight pants, high heels, and skimpy bathing suits a fashion must. i'm happy to say that along with the arrival of spring is the arrival of looser more comfortable trends. it would be a dream-come-true to switch around the gender roles...women could relax while they watch men suffer from the pain of fashionable clothing

My husband wouldn't be caught dead in heels...and I wouldn't be with him if he did. This doesn't look the least bit attractive!

Whats Funny, is that this style could be a complete farce, not that the designer did not really design them but more that...this is what designers do to pull interest. Have you ever seen a fashion show? Half the things the models walk with are unconventional and never actually made for real wear. However the interest raised for the designer helps push interest for their more practical clothing. The power of "Meels" is not whether they catch, but that we sit around and make some sort of stir about it. Another fact im sure most of you are unfamiliar with since I keep seeing this line "heels are for girls". Well sorry to burst your bubble but heels were invented by "men for men" (yes, I believe to accomodate the ever present complex men possess about their height) it may have been a couple/few hundred years ago, but yeah thats the truth. In fact when heels were invented (once again, for men's use) women actually wore the flattest shoe possible and would do a shuffle walk, due to the need to look as if they floated in thier giant hoop skirts. Now I know that heels have evolved to be feminine, but they didnt start that way. So really this designer is not breaking any new ground just repackaging it. Plus here we are and Im sure many others will be...talking about it.
