Mario Batali really loves his crocs

Filed under: Accessories, Shoes, Celebrities with Style

Generally I'm not a fan of crocs, the ubiquitous rubber shoes loved by kids, the elderly and everyone in between. And I am definitely not a fan of crocs on dudes, except for on this man, chef, author and bon vivant Mario Batali. Batali, who wears orange crocs pretty much everywhere he goes (he owns around 50 pairs), has endorsed the new Bistro line of crocs designed for restaurant and food service industry professionals. The Bistro work shoes have a slip-resistant design and a closed heel with a thicker metatarsal area to help protect the top of the foot and a supportive arch and foot bed circulation nubs. The Bistro sells for $39.95 and comes in black, chocolate, navy, red, white and Batali's signature orange. I'm all for crocs in the kitchen but orange crocs out on the town only look cute on Mario.
