Styledash introduces...Lauren Messiah
I am taking a cue from fellow Styledash-ette Sarah J. Gim and conducting an interview with my fabulous self. Trust me, its better this way because once I get going about myself I can't stop. Do you have a personal blog?
You bet I do! I actually have two of them. The first being my claim to fake-fame Ask Fashion Kitty, which is a heaping scoop of fashion advice plus some. The second is a behind closed doors fashion blog (you know for my wild side), The Bad Kitty Online.

What is your day job, or rather, what do you do when you're not blogging?
My day job is shopping...seriously it is. When I am not shopping to earn my paycheck I am shopping to spend that paycheck... vicious cycle isn't it.
How long have you been blogging with Styledash?
I've been blogging for Styledash for almost a whole hour but those not reading this right now... since May '07.Do you have any non-style-related, non-blogging hobbies?
In my limited spare time I work on my fitness through the wonderful world of S Factor. I am also a big fan of decorating so I shop around for things to cute-ify my apartment.
Where is your favorite place to shop?
Where don't I like to shop! No but seriously (this is a serious question) I shop at Marc Jacobs, Madison, Kitson, Sky, and Fred Segal; but please don't be fooled I don't "got it like that" so I also bargain shop at places like Loehmanns too.
Favorite designer?
Marc Jacobs. Hands down.
Music track, album or artist?
Coldplay and Radiohead are tied as my favorites.
What is your most prized item in your closet?
My very first pair of Manolo Blahniks, not only were they given to me by someone very special but my role model has the same exact pair.
Confession time – what is your personal StyleFoul?
Ha. This is embarrassing; in college I bought a fake pair of those awful JLO Timberland Blahniks...the shame. Worst $150 I ever spent yet I haven't thrown them away.
