This will likely be the last of the facial cleansing cloths I am going to try for a bit. Several weeks ago, I did a whole Drugstore Beauty Queen series on these convenient little things to clean your face, whether it's easier to take along when travelling, or easier for a lazy person to remove makeup at the end of the night. Let's just say that it's Sarah taking control of her addiction. I've just sort of become lazy about skin care because these things are too easy!

I was a little reluctant to buy Noxzema Wet Cleansing Cloths because, like Clearasil, it made me feel like I was thrown back to high school, treating an acne-ridden face. I couldn't resist the price tag, though. Since the brand is marketed at the younger crowd (read: teens), the price point is lower. At Drugstore.com, the Noxzema wipes are only $3.99! I paid slightly more at a local drugstore, but not much.
The Noxzema Cloths have a decent fragrance. Like the regular Noxzema cream, it has a slightly "minty" smell. The cloths themselves are pretty large, which might be a waste for other people who are only cleansing, but for the amount of makeup I have to scrape off my face, it was nice to have a lot of surface area.

The cloths are textured, so they do a good job of making me feel like I am getting down into the cracks and crevices of my face to get the gunk off. Notice, however, that I said "feel." I have to admit that despite the size of the cloths and the cleanser on them, I am quite sure that I removed only about 85% of the stuff on my face. After finishing, I always felt like I had to go back to the sink and wash my face with regular facial cleanser and water.

The worst feeling, however, was the "greasy" feel of my face after using the cloths. Whatever formula the actual cleanser is on the cloths, it never felt like it completely left my face. It's the same feeling that I get from a lot of cleansers that feel like they never completely rinse off my face. I know. I should be punished by my dermatologist for liking that "squeaky clean" feeling on my skin, but I can't help it.

In the end, I don't mind the Noxzema Wet Cleansing Cloths, especially since they are so much less expensive than the others. Also, Noxzema is supposed to help fight acne (since it IS geared toward teens), but I didn't notice any change in my skin's condition from using them.
