Hudson Jeans Slim Your Thighs
Filed under: Clothing, Jeans, Celebrities with Style
I won a pair of Hudson jeans last year, and I kind of forgot that I owned them until recently. You see, I am a denim junkie and I have an obscene number of jeans. I decided to stop ignoring the bottom shelf of my denim rack and wore all of my "old" jeans this past week. First was Rock and Republic jeans, then my Juicy Couture jeans, and finally my Hudson jeans. I have no idea why I was so rude to my Hudson jeans because they are fabulous.
There are a few qualities I look for when denim shopping: do they make my butt look awesome? Will they make me look taller? Are they going to slim my thighs? Hudson met all of my requirements, they even got me a few compliments.
Hudson is an Los Angeles-based denim company that is known for its stylish cuts and slimming fits (told ya). Hudson has mastered the worn-in look, which also makes your jeans more comfortable. Hudson's jeans have quite a celebrity following; Jessica Alba, Kate Bosworth, Sienna Miller, and Jessica Simpson.
Looks like I need to stock up on Hudson. Whenever I find a pair of jeans that live up to my standards I tend to hoard them away. I will start with the Glory Basic Boot Jean for a cool $165 at DJPremium.com.

My husband and I have lost a combined 42 pounds since Jan. We started drinking this fruit juice called Monavie. It is made up of 19 fruits including the acai berry. We began to have more energy and our appetites were curbed. We drink 2oz in the morning and 2 oz at night. We were so excited we now have our whole family drinking it and each one has found benefits in the juice! Learn more: http://www.mymonavie.com/richardfamily

$165 for jeans?? Not all of us have that kind of money to throw around. Give me a good pair of Lee Jeans for $40.

I agree about Monavie, did absolutely NOTHING but drain the wallet. All hype, no help. Also, $165.00 for jeans? I can clothe my 3 kids with that money, I am with #4 give me a good pair of Lee's!

Why why why do all these manufacturers think that Lycra/spandex help the fit of jeans??????? Can't find a decent pair of jeans without it now days. Give me a mid rise, bootcut anyday. Not everyone can wear the low rise, exp with lycra. All the lycra does is make the back come down so low it is obscene when you bend over.

My thinking is that an advertising apprentice for HUDSON has written that first item and it will make the stock rise. Shame on those of you that have so much money and spend it on such things. I agree with #4 (and 5) also. If I stayed the same shape year after year, I still would not invest over $50 for jeans, and that would be on the reduced rack for half of that.

OH, REALLY! SLIMS THE THIGHS?
GO TO WAL-MART ONE OF THESE DAYS AND LOITER FOR FIFTEEN MINUTES AROUND THE PLUS-SIZE (FAT BROAD) DEPARTMENT. STANDING THERE WITH A CLICKER-COUNTER SEE HOW MANY ETHIOPIAN-AMERICAN LARD ASSES STROLL IN LOOKING FOR JEANS THAT'LL DRAW IN THOSE TWO ENORMOUS PROTUBERENCE THEY HAVE SUSPENDED ON THEIR BACKSIDE. IF/WHEN ONE WALKS INTO AN OVERCROWDED INNER-CITY BASSABAW SPORTS BAR AT ELEVEN IN THE MORNING (CUZ' EVERYBODY'S OUT OF WORK OR CALLED OFF SICK), TYRELL AND HIS BUDDY DEMETRIUS WILL HAVE A SPACIOUS SURFACE TO SET DOWN THEIR BEER MUGS!

Hudson jeans might make THAT body look slimmer, not necessarily MY body, $165 or not... 8-/
Nice plug #1 -- I didn't think this was a forum for advertising for the "Richard Family"... You wanna lose weight?? eat healthy, moderate proportions, and get your butt in gear and exerise! There are NO magic pills or juices, I hate to break it to ya...

Pulllleeeze. We non-celebrities don't pay $165 for jeans and if the Richards' family thinks they can push the Monavie on this forum to be able to afford them themselves, forgeddaboutit.

I went to the website to look at these jeans well the largest size they had was 26x34. Do you really need to worry about your butt at that size! Lets put some sizes out there for those of us who really need help!!!

A sad world we live in when $165 for a pair of jeans is reasonable to some people. Most of the working people live on less than $30,000 per year and $165 is 2 weeks worth of groceries.
These people should live in the real world for awhile!!

How can you have an obscene number of jeans but wear them all in a week?

Don't know about the Hudson jeans, but I do know about MonaVie. Started purchasing and consuming it last March with the intention of selling the product as a supplement to my income. Lost money because nobody would buy it, and did not see any positive benefits as far as energy and overall health. Just like Xango, it did nothing, and cost big bucks to consume on a regular basis. Yes, I too wanted to lose wait and alleviate some back pain, but it just did not happen. Have since lost weight by eating healthy and exercising. It is true, there are no magic solutions! MonaVie is not worth the cost of the packaging in which it comes!

Linda, you pay $40 for a pair of Lee jeans? That's outrageous!!! You are getting ripped off! Try Wal-Mart for Lee Jeans, or Target for Levi's. I buy Levi's at Target for $24.99 or less. Even better, shop the outlet malls, where you can buy J-Crew jeans for the same price. J-Crew jeans are always flattering... slimming, and lengthening... which is great for those of us who are short with curvy hips!
My friends keep raving about 7 jeans... I guess I'll have to try some on, though I won't spend more than $50 or $60 on a pair of jeans.

Of course you can buy cheaper jeans. You can also buy cheap cars, and yet people are still shelling out big bucks for top-of-the-line BMWs, Mercedes, and exotic sports cars. Don't you think there's a reason for this? One obvious answer is the status that certain brands carry. But also, many brands achieved their status by offering superior products. While you may be happy wearing your $20 jeans and driving your 1992 Camry, that might not work for everyone.

I work in a shop and sell a lot of JEANS. WE started last year with NOT MY DAUGHTERS JEANS and now all fo the manufactures are putting sapndex in their Jeans. First you have to tell the customer to go down a size because they will grow on you and will be to big after wearing them. Most of the older woman did not like them because it drew their butt in and after a certain age you do not have a butt.T he younger person liked them a little bit because they could wear them tighter then what they could buy before. I would like to see them as a past thing. New Smyrna Beach, Fl
