UJeans: jeans that'll fit right for once

Filed under: Stores We Love, Clothing, Jeans

UjeansI've been hating on my jeans lately. Not just because it's 8,000 degrees here in Austin and wearing them makes my legs feel like they're melting, but also because they never fit right -- which, in weather like this, is incredibly uncomfortable.

On the rare occasion I find a pair that manages to fit around my waist without expanding to balloon-like proportions after they're worn, they inevitably are too short, or make me look like I have 80s mom hips. I don't like to admit that I think about how my butt looks in pants, but when it's this bad, I can't help but demand that something -- anything -- be done to remedy this dire situation.

Enter UJeans. It's a Toronto-based company that offers custom-made jeans, created with a 11-point fit system that you measure yourself. You just send in the numbers and voila! Back comes a perfect-fitting pair of jeans.

What makes UJeans even cooler is that all their stuff is made from sustainable cotton, which is dyed with natural minerals and enzymes. You'll not only get a great pair of jeans, you'll be doing your part to reduce your impact on the environment. What more could you ask for?
