It's hard to admit but, yes, I watch The Hills.Lauren Conrad and the gang always have on nice clothes that you know darn well they couldn't afford if the show were actually "reality" (Teen Vogue interns can't get paid that well). The girls are paid mega bucks to live their loosely scripted lives and designers are practically begging them to wear their clothes.
For those of us who aren't as fortunate as the ladies on The Hills, let's do Lauren Conrad's look for less. The secret to this looks is "working it" with confidence and perfect makeup. The outfit isn't very complex because it's just basic black with gold accessories. Just beware, matching blacks can be tricky so be sure your black garments are all the same shade of black.
