Ah, Carrie Bradshaw -- arguably the most recognizable women's fashion icon of the past decade. The sassy single antics of Bradshaw and her Sex and the City crew created a huge following for the star -- so much so that, even though her personal foray into fashion design has been a little lackluster, the actress' new movie is a perennial hot topic on fashion blogs.
Big news today, as the first preview for the new movie has hit the Internet. Nothing gets revealed that you didn't know already -- but it's enough to get fans even more pumped about the movie's release date: currently set for May, 2008.

I'm excited to see this film too! I loved Sex in the City. My only concern is how they'll treat the characters at their current ages. Maturity had to kick in by now. You can't be doing the serial dating scene at their age (can you?). Some of Sarah's out fits (which were so FUN to see when she was younger) now seem too, much for a 40 plus year old. Having watched Sex in the City from beginning to end over the holidays ( okay.. I have no life), I was amazed at how dysfunctional Carrie really was! Watching her in weekly segments, you sort of missed the big picture. Both Carrie and Big are afraid of committment. I'd trade Big in for Adian any day of the week. He was a truly nice guy, verses player (self centered) Big. Oh well... foolish choices women make. This is why the divorce level is so high. I secretly hope Carrie doesn't marry Big.
