Most of the people on this site won't know who I'm talking about (these are older actors, or, in one case, a dead actor!), but Kirk Douglas and Gregory Peck had lots of work done. Just look at their eyes in their later performances. These plastic surgeons don't seem to have any real artistry! Everyone's eyes turn out the same! I am SO glad Cary Grant didn't appear to have had anything done. Phew! Now THAT's class!

Too many of the older actors are having plastic surgery done, and they look worst than Joan Rivers.
Kenny Rogers, Wayne Newton, Barry Manilow, and I can't tell for sure, but I believe Rudy Guilianni and Regis Philbin may be delving into this fad as well.
Personally, I prefer the man not to wear a tupae or hearweave, or even cross their hair over, much less go for face lifts, etc. Being natural is much more attractive and humbling.

Had anyone noticed that Robert Redford was looking his age, and just recently, his face looked less wrinkled. With the money celebrities make and their boredom, with nothing more to do, but keep up with the "Jones," this is their greatest fad. Not to say, Cher allegedly went for hips, face, nose, breast and other lifts to make her shapely.

Combine the exaggerated surgeries with the metrosexual plucked eyebrows and a perfectly handsome mature man will look effeminate and weird.

It's a shame that most people in the entertainment business (men AND women) don't have the grace to age naturally. Speaking of women, have you guys seen the housewives on "The Housewives of Orange County"? Now THOSE are ALL women who have gone under the knife way to much. They all look so unattractive and plastic.

Burt Reynolds has looked like the original "saran wrap" faced man for some time. But no one in the celebrity mags has ever said a word.
I also believe Regis Philbin has gone under the knife. If these people would stay out of the sun, or at least take protective measures to blunt UV damage, hit the gym regularly and cut down on the obvious stuff they shouldn't be putting into their bodies, they wouldn't age so badly. And I don't know if Stallone has had work done, or it's the HGH he was recently caught with overseas. Always knew he was doing 'roids, no way could a man his age maintain that muscle mass, if "Ahnold" couldn't do it, nobody could!

No one mentioned Al pacino!!
Also no one mentioned why they do this. Because they are commodities and they are able to stretch there movie star careers by 10 to 20 years longer by doing this. All of these men make 5-20 milliion a picture. If they don't do it then they either stop working or become character actors. For some that is enough, but most of these guys just don't want to stop working
